Weddings at Château la Chaire
Chateau La Chaire is a privately owned Country House set in the green valley of Rozel, Jersey and close to the beach and sea. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and forming relationships with every couple who choose the Chateau for their special day. Your Wedding day is one of the most important days of your lives and we want you to enjoy the journey and create memories to last a lifetime.
Our Suite or Drawing room are ideal for intimate civil ceremonies with just a handful of guests to a maximum of 65. This can be followed by a drinks reception inside or outside on the sun terrace followed by a seated wedding breakfast in our Suite for up to 65 guests. An additional unseated evening party with live music/ DJ or playlists is also possible for up to 130 guests when booking the hotel on an exclusive use basis. The Suite also adjoins the main hotel bar.
The hotel is set in 8 acres of woodland and just a two minute stroll from the beach and sea at Rozel Bay so it’s the perfect place for such an occasion.

Exclusive Use
The entire house and grounds for your wedding exclusively.
The most popular choice for a wedding at the Chateau is an exclusive use basis and perfect for couples requiring accommodation for visiting friends and family.
All public rooms and grounds together with 12 bedrooms and 1 suite are available for use during your event. The whole hotel is yours to do with what you wish including themed weddings, disco’s and parties.
January – April & October – December
1 night – £2600 Sunday to Thursday
2 nights – £4750 Sunday – Thursday
1 night – £3900 Friday or Saturday.
2 nights – £7200 Friday & Saturday.
(Weekend rates apply to peak dates i.e New Year’s Eve, Valentines Day etc.)
May – September
£5525 for one night or £9750 for two nights
Exclusive use commences from 11.00am for public rooms and ends on the day of departure at 11.00am. Bedrooms can be occupied as soon as they become available after 11.00am but are guaranteed for occupancy by 3.00pm. Guests are welcome to arrive earlier and store luggage.
The above rates are in addition to all other wedding charges described with our wedding packages.

On the big day all aspects of the day were dealt with and the day kept running smoothly, any minor hick-ups (my niece knocking over a plant pot!) were dealt with without me even knowing about them until after the event. This kept our big day so wonderfully stress-free, exactly what a bride wants!
All staff were friendly and helpful and we have had every guest at our wedding comment about how wonderful the wedding was; but also how wonderful the hotel staff were on the day. The food was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by all and the bar staff kept the drinks flowing throughout the evening.
We cannot thank-you all enough for making our big day run without a hitch and making us feel so welcome in your wonderful hotel. We shall be back for many anniversaries in the future.
Mark, Chloe and all the team couldn’t have done enough to make our perfect day come true! From the moment we walked into La Chaire for a viewing, 12 months ahead of the big day, we knew it was the place for us. You feel transported away from it all and enveloped by the warmth of not only the stunning Chateau, but by every single member of the La Chaire team.
We decided to hire the Chateau exclusively, as we had some close friends and family coming and we are so glad we did, it felt like our own home for the two days. The team worked with us to understand our exact requirements and quietly carried out each request – we literally didn’t have to worry about a single thing, it was all under control!
We all enjoyed a delicious meal on the Friday evening in the Rozel pub and the wedding breakfast following the ceremony was outstanding. Our friends and family are still talking about what a fantastic wedding it was and how special La Chaire is….
