The bedrooms at the Chateau are all individually styled and elegantly furnished. Many boast feature beds like four posters and the spa baths are comfy enough for a relaxing long soak. The balcony rooms are a particular favourite and as you would expect, all rooms offer an array of personal comforts including Nespresso Coffee, Smart TV’s, luxury Penhaligon’s toiletries and fluffy bathrobes and slippers.

Got a favourite room or a request?
We’re an old house and not a purpose built hotel so rooms do vary in size and style. All Superior rooms except one are on the first floor with the Classics on the second. If you have a particular favourite or special request we recommend contacting us before booking so we can meet your expectations or needs with your room allocation.

We love furry friends
We love dogs and we know your dog is part of the family! So whether you’re travelling from near or far we will welcome your furry friends if you want to bring them along. We have some lovely rooms suitable for you and your best friend.
We’re also fortunate to be in the countryside and at the seaside at the same time so finding space for walkies is easy. We only ask that dogs remain on a lead at all times in the hotel public areas and terrace and if they return from a walk dressed in mud or sand that you please clean them up first before going to your room.
Lastly we do ask a small fee of £15 per dog per night to cover things like cleaning etc. Unfortunately not everyone is a dog lover and the next guest in the room may be such a person so we have to pay extra attention to cleaning afterwards.
